Henry Brooks Adams (1838-1918) was an American novelist, journalist, historian, and academic, from one of the most prominent and wealthy American families. His grandfather and great-grandfather were both Presidents of the USA. He is now best known for his autobiography 'The Education of Henry Adams', in which he recounts his fond memories of staying with the Sturgis family at Mount Felix.
