Paul Eddington (1927-1995) actor. He was best known for his appearances in popular TV sitcoms of the 1970s and 80s. His first appearance in a TV drama was in 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' from 1955 to 1960, playing minor characters, until eventually he was cast as Will Scarlet. He then became a household name in 'The Good Life' as Jerry Leadbetter, with Penelope Keith as his wife, Margo. His fame grew as star of 'Yes, Minister', and later 'Yes, Prime Minister'.
