Rowland Plumbe (1838-1919) architect, redesigned 'Woodlands Park House' for Bryant. After leaving University College he was articled to Nockalls Johnson Cottingham and Frederick Peek, then spent two years in America with Frederick Clark Withers. Plumbe returned to London in 1860 to start his own practice in London.
